A living record of what Dobbs did —
and the truths we use to win.
On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Every number on this page is a measurement of what that decision has done — and a rebuttal to the story the people who wrote it want you to believe. Abortion is normal, safe, and moral. The data agrees.
Where abortion is legal today.
Fourteen states enforce a total ban. Another twelve enforce early or mid-pregnancy restrictions. Click any state to see the law in effect, the gestational limit, and how many residents travelled out of state for care in 2024.
The cost is measured in lives.
Maternal mortality per 100,000 live births in 2023. In the states that banned abortion after Dobbs, mothers are dying at a rate 45% higher than in states that protected access. For Black mothers in ban states, the rate is more than triple that of their neighbours.

The geography of access.
Before Dobbs, 81,000 people crossed state lines for abortion in a year. In 2024, 155,000 did — 15% of all U.S. abortion patients. Here are the top receiving states, and the share of their total volume that comes from non-residents.

A snapshot of recent bills, rulings, and ballot outcomes. Red is a loss; sage is a win. Nothing here is hypothetical — every line is a draft bill or a court decision filed in the last thirty days.
